Lake Walloon is located just one mile from Lake Michigan and sits about 100 feet higher in elevation. The lake empties into Lake Michigan through Bear River. The West Arm of Lake Walloon is its deepest basin, reaching one hundred feet in depth. Mud Lake is the shallowest depression at 14 feet. Walloon Lake is primarily fed by groundwater and maintains its crystal-clear appearance through sand filtration and the introduction of zebra mussels.

This lake art is made of high-quality Baltic birch. Each piece is laser-cut with precision to visually detail the depths. Once cut, each piece is seamlessly glued together and hand-stained, reflecting the majestic blue of the water. The name and location of points of interest are etched into the wood, reflecting the highlights of the Walloon Lake area. The topographical map is finished off with a custom wood frame and protective acrylic glass.

Capture the charm and inspiration of Lake Walloon with this 3D nautical wood chart.
