Cuba was home to the Ciboney Taíno people for centuries before being colonized by the Spanish and then the United States after the Spanish-American War of 1898. Although the country is considered part of Latin America, its culture, people, and customs come together from some of the most diverse places in the world. As more and more people discover its beauty, Cuba is slowly becoming a go-to destination known for more than its white-sand beaches, music clubs, and cigars.

Step into a time machine and travel back to the vibrant streets of Havana with our 3D nautical wood chart of Cuba. Each wood map begins with a chart of the surrounding water depths known as a bathymetric map. An artist then laser cuts pieces of Baltic birch for the wood chart to precise measurements to depict the island's topography. Once the pieces are glued together, the water is hand-stained, and points of interest are carved into its surface. The map is finished with a piece of ultra-transparent acrylic and a custom wood frame.

Honor the beauty and diversity of this incredible island with our 3D nautical wood map of Cuba.
